Location. The Hotel Ambassador is in a traditional building on the French Riviera in Nice, France, overlooking the sea. The Old Town is within half a kilometre while the shops, cafés and casino of the seafront Promenade des Anglais are 200 metres away. Nice Cote d'Azur Airport (NCE) is six kilometres from the hotel. Hotel Features. The hotel enjoys views over the sea and private gardens. Staff at the 24 hour front desk can provide restaurant recommendations and book sightseeing trips and boat tours.
The Hotel Ambassador serves buffet breakfast and provides room service (limited hours). Guests can enjoy cocktails in the lounge bar, and the nearby seafront is teeming with cafés and restaurants.

From Nice Cote d'Azur Airport (NCE): Distance to Hotel Ambassador is 6 kilometres, approximately 20 minutes' drive.
Getting there. Taxis from the airport cost about 20 EUR 25 EUR to Nice. There are additional fees for motorway tolls and extra luggage, and fares are more expensive at night. Gare St Augustin station is 500 metres from the terminals; trains run from here to Nice Gare Ville station. Buses run to Nice (numbers 23, 98, and 99), Grasse (number 500), Monaco (number 100), and Cannes (numbers 200 and 210). Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The Hotel Ambassador is on Avenue de Suede. Nice city centre is compact and easy to explore on foot, particularly the seafront and Vieux Nice. Parts of central Nice are pedestrianised. Buses operate within the city centre and along the Cote d'Azur. Driving is not recommended within the city, and taxis are expensive.
